Of Love….and Print

During this time of the year, it’s easy to let your mind turn to romantic notions. In fact, it’s almost impossible not to think of love when aisles in stores are filled with chocolates, flowers, and stuffed animals. However, romance should be celebrated all year round. If you are really looking to impress that special someone, then you need to think outside the box.

Perhaps you are at an “asking” point in a relationship. Maybe you’re asking for a date, for some special someone to accompany you to prom or homecoming, or for a hand in marriage.  Your plan of action will depend on how big of a question you’re asking.

If you are looking for an impressive way to get a date to the big dance, don’t leave a note in their locker. Instead, you could get a banner made up to display in front of the hallway. You can personalize the banner for the object of your affection with colors, pictures, or even favorite song lyrics.

Maybe you are past that point in your life, and you are hoping to get engaged. For an engagement, the moment needs to be special. Take your beloved on a road trip, and have signs asking, “will you marry me?” If road trips aren’t your thing, then you can use banners or stickers for the same effect. You could hide stickers in geocaches, or place banners around a stadium. Personalize the engagement to who you are as a couple and to your interests and hobbies.

After the engagement comes the wedding. It’s important to have items that help you, your spouse, and your family and friends remember the occasion. Personalized cups, keychains, magnets, pens, even lighters, can all make great wedding favors. These items can display the year, the couple’s names or photos, and the wedding colors.

For the wedding party, “Bride-to-be”, “Groom-to-be”, “Maid of Honor”, and “Best Man” shirts help designate who’s running the show. Shirts designating members of the wedding party are always helpful during bachelorette and bachelor parties. Whether the parties take place out on the town or at a home, banners can set the mood or even help with games. After the wedding, these items make great souvenirs of one of the most important days of your life.

When the wedding is over, embroidered items make great gifts for the wedding party in thanks for their support and care before and during the wedding. Monogrammed items can be used daily and are classy and simple. These items will be remembered for years to come and will serve as a reminder of a lovely wedding.

Wherever you are in your relationship, make sure to put thought and care into your actions, and to think outside the box.
